is a professional sound reinforcement and stage lighting contractor
based in the Bay area offering premier audio and visual production services to the upscale event purchaser, producer and musical artists.




With over twenty-five years of experience in the professional, corporate and touring audio industry,
owner/operator John Breglia is well versed and sympathetic to
the protocols and specialized logistics of formal upscale events, their purchasers and producers.
As a result, the BLACK TIE AUDIO production model was designed to utilize world-class components throughout, is highly adaptive and unobtrusive
while having the capability of delivering clear, articulate, controlled audio to most events, indoors or out, of up to 2500 persons.



The basic turnkey sound-reinforcement and lighting package occupies a footprint normally associated with a much smaller-scale production
and showcases the latest technology in loudspeaker design: the ultra-compact JBL VRX-932LA line-array.
The 932LA consists of a low profile, horizontally oriented box housing a patented "constant curvature" waveguide that allows for
superb sightlines, pinpoint focusing of the program material, highly accurate, articulate reproduction within the critical vocal range and
near total elimination of feedback artifacts in most environments.

The whole system may be customized through a number of available options, all powered by over 36Kw of ultra-clean, low-draw amplification
making it a perfect choice for many acoustically, as well as logistically, challenging venues.
Coupled with our state-of-the-art, DMX based, 4.8Kw lighting package,
BLACK TIE AUDIO will transform the typical event dance floor into a high-tech party zone.



The BLACK TIE AUDIO sound-reinforcement/lighting package is available for regional hire from the greater SF Bay area,
comes delivered within a bio-diesel fueled panel van and is ably staffed by a highly experienced, professional, two-man tech crew.
Available options include additional loudspeakers, amplification, outboard, lighting, AV devices, remote power, support staff and extended service areas.
